Bearded Dragon Help

My female bearded dragon Sarah jumped off my hand and now she drags herself using her front legs and won't use her back legs. I just need help figuring out what to do to help her

Poor girl, how is she acting otherwise ? Sometimes they recover on their own but it's possible that you'll need a vet to see her....but only an experienced reptile vet. Here's an article from Reptiles magazine that might be helpful. Best wishes for a recovery !

Thank you and she has been acting pretty normal, but she is just having a really hard time moving around because she can't move her hind legs. Is there a way to treat this from home? I can not afford to take her to a vet so I want to try and help her the best I can with what I have for now.

Good that she's acting normally, but they can hide their pain/discomort. Is she getting movement back in her hind legs ? If not, you'll really need to see a reptile vet like the article said. They might be able to help her out.

Why did you buy the dragon if you cannot take care of it. That poor dragon depends on you to care for it. Either take it to a vet or give it to someone who can care for it. It only cost $75 or so to see a vet.

What??? How can you make a cast? Are you a vet? Omg. Take the dragon to a vet or it might get worse.

You know, there are some people that have pets and love them just as much as we do. Just because financial situations restrict what they can do, doesn't mean they love them any less. You don't know the circumstances involved in this persons life, so don't go slamming him/her because they can't afford a vet at this particular time. He/she is a new member and we should be helping them not trying to cause them even more distress in an all ready stressful situation. Unbelievable!

The point is we cannot help them. Only a vet can treat an injury to a beardies legs like that. For the price it cost to buy the dragon and house it you can go to a vet. There is no excuse for buying an animal and then not being able to care for it. What about food? That cost money. I'm sure the beardie was bought in love but the purchase still comes with responsibly. Like I said, if you cannot take care of the animal, give it to someone who can. What if the beardie broke a leg??? Would you just say it's ok that you can't afford a vet, let's hope for the best and that it heals on its own. In a way it's animal abuse.

We used to be financially stable but my stepdad had left us and he was the one who helped us pay for things but now he is gone so we don't have a lot of money at the moment and I love my animals very much, that is why I was trying to seek help for her. So how about you don't judge someone before you know them, or if you have no idea what's going on in their lives.
