So sorry to hear about your brother's little one..You tried your hardest to help this little one,like the others have said babies are such a fragile bunch.If your brother wants a reptile I would stay start with a crested gecko.My son who will be 14 on Tuesday owns one and their set up is easy as they don't really need any heat lamps and such.He takes total control of caring for Rahamuth as well as assisting in the care of my husband's 8 month old beardie(Leonard) and my 1 year old rescue beardie(Sammy).This way he can learn without the pressure of being totally responsible for multiple demands of owning a beardie.
