Bearded Dragon Ate Styrofoam; tips to weather the weekend?

My 15" bearded dragon ate a pretty sizable chunk of styrofoam that was right outside his enclosure. It was a round piece of Great Stuff expanding foam, between the size of a nickel and a quarter (but round like a ball, not disc-shaped like a coin). I grabbed him to get it out of his mouth but he immediately swollowed it without chewing.

This happened Friday at 5pm. WORST TIMING EVER. I called the exotic vets around DFW and they told me they couldn't give advice over the phone. One clinic did manage to give me a phone number to an animal emergency hotline.
None of the clinics could tell me whether this was a true emergency needing immediate medical attention (x-rays on Monday, for example) or whether I could wait it out to see if he passes it.

Searched on Google for tips; I tried giving him applesauce but he only licked a bit off his mouth.
I raised his temperatures to 110 F at the highest part of his plank (he has levels and a slope so he can regulate if he feels toasty).

Should I give him a warm bath? Or would added stress be worse for him? (He hates baths)

Should I avoid feeding him or cut down on his dubias? (so if he is blocked up, the blockage doesn't just build in his system)

I hear prunes help a lot. Does anybody know whether I should I get fresh or dried prunes?

What else can I do?

Is it a bad idea to wait and watch his fecal rate to see if:
A) he's impacted from the foam
B) he passes the foam on his own

Lastly, does anyone know whether the foam can be dissolved naturally by a bearded dragon's stomach?

Behavior-wise, it hasn't been long enough to tell if he's lethargic or anorexic. When I walked in this morning, though, he had his beard extended like he was uncomfortable. It didn't seem black, but it was a strange orange color and there were actually streaks of black around his ear. Very few stress marks.

Thanks in advance if anyone has advice.

Good news is once it is dry it is no longer toxic so you shouldn't have to worry too much about any poison due to chemicals. This can certainly cause impaction and be hard for his system to digest but there are a few things you can do to help him pass this.
First it's great that you increased his temps a bit, make sure it's not so hot that he's not wanting to bask. If that happens bring the temps down just slightly (like a 105 basking spot). Second keep him well hyderated! Mist his face atleast 3x a day and I would go ahead and give daily warm baths. i would continue to feed him regularly. You don't want a block of styrofoam to be the only thing sitting in his system. Other well digested food may actually help to push this down his digestive tract.
You can place a few drops (not too much just a drop or 2) of extra virgin olive oil onto one of his insects just simply coat the insect in it and feed it to him. This will lubercate his digestive tract and help things to pass through more easily.
Baby food prunes and mashed apples are great too. If he's refusing to eat them give him a few days and if it still hasn't passed go ahead and force feed him a little. If you have a syringe you can just put a little of the baby food in it and gently pinch the middle of his beard. This will force the corners of his mouth to open in which you can than insert the syringe.

With him being 15" he should be able to pass this just fine with a little extra help from you.

Baby food prunes, squash, applesauce, and about 1/4 tsp. of veg. oil or raw honey can help pass things along. Continue to feed him to keep his digestive tract moving along, just not huge amounts of food.I know that small amounts of styro usually pass through alright so hopefully [ and probably ] that will be the case. Wonderful information, thank you both so much. I haven't fed him today because I was worried and confused about what to do. Definitely go feed him now and get all the suggested oils and baby foods tomorrow morning.

Thanks again!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
