Bearde Feeding Help?!

The only pet place in my town ran out of crickets so I got waxworms ill get crickets tomorrow hopefully they Will come in but i fed him 20 waxworms today and i know they are fatty for him but tomorrow if i switch back will he be ok he's only 4 Months And I just didn't want him going hungry

That's quite a lot of wax worms... better hold them off until like next month. You can order crickets in bulk, or something I prefer better, dubia roaches or phoenix worms. If you live in FL and Dubia aren't available, go with PW, they're healthy and filled with calcium. Crickets are still fine and great as well. But the wax worms, make sure he goes to the bathroom tonight or tomorrow.

I will ! I just don't want him to get fatty liver disease or any problems I want to make sure like once isn't too bad

This may or may not help but I only use worms as a special treat like once a month (mine love horn worms and mealworms) For an everyday use I give my two ladies (goose and duck) 3 Dubai roaches and fresh veggies. The roaches have the calcium they need along with the protein. We started to breed the roaches because it is a lot cheaper than buying 10 for 5 bucks at the pet store.

Waxworms are tiny , soft and very squishy ... I think he'll be fine, though I hear they are like crack for beardies , he might go on strike for more .... LOL
