Basking light bulb

Hey guys, so my bearded dragons basking light just went out on me and the pet store is closed until tomorrow.. will he be okay with just the UVB bulb until I can go get a new basking light ??

Pleaser get rid of the coil bulb and yes he will be fine w/ out the basking bulb till you get to the store --- please get a bright white basking bulb ---- the coil is inadequate for a UVB -- you need this for a 40+ gallon tank

I dont know how fast these people are -- they are out of CA you can call them to see how soon they ship or try and find this in your area --- most pet stores do not carry this length in stores -

Hi there yes this is not soemtbung I was aware of, when I did my research before getting him the current bulb was called for. Thank you for the heads up, with that type of.bulb and lid where would I put the basking light?

Well they say it's optimal to have them next to each other sometimes that is not possible- either way your dragon will go to the light he needs-- what size tank? How high is it?

This is the kit I gotten, the tank is a 40 gallon tank

I'm now worrying about hurting him with it, and the other light bulb as well. Is this type okay for the basking light?

ok the UVB should be a 24" fixture w/ reflector and a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 ---- I would get this ASAP - the UVB now is inadequate and basically is doing no good -- the T 5 has options please take a pic of the screen on top so I can see it
