basking area/cave structure

I have some wood that i got from home depot. Can't remember which type but i looked it up before i bought it and made sure it was the safe stuff. The question i can't figure out is, do i need to sanitize this wood? I see plenty of discussions about treating outside wood but can't find a single thing about store bought wood. I would just bake it just to be safe but it's pretty thin and I'm afraid it would catch on fire.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd imagine it's fine as-is. You'd need to bake it at pretty high temperatures for it to catch fire. Baking on low (approx 250) is hot enough to kill off bugs/bacteria without it catching fire but that isn't really a concern with wood from a lumber store.
