Canth, my rescused dragon with the bad jaw, died on Sunday June 1. I thought he was going to be ok, he had gained about 50 grams, and was looking good, he even had a cute little belly. He was eating well and being active.
Then he started vomiting, and passing undigested food.
I took him to the vet who did an ultrasound and found an enlarged liver with spots. He wouldn't eat, and was falling asleep a lot.
After a long discussion with the vet, I reluctantly decided to have him put down, after everything he had gone through, I just couldn't let him starve again.
I miss him, and always will.
