It could be that they ate them too fast and didn't take the time to chew or they didn't have enough time at 95 or above to digest the worms..I know when I brought home my rescue Sammy last month he would eat like he hasn't eaten in years and the next time he would poop I would see worm parts and sometimes whole worms.But once he settled down we haven't had that problem anymore.
Try and make sure your baby has at least 2 hours of basking time after every meal.And if it is like Sammy where your baby just eats too fast try drop one or two at a time and see if that helps.
My full grown beardie also passed not only whole worms.. but whole LIVE phoenix worms!! It was so gross. I found out it was because.. when I offered them in a bowl.. she gobbled them up several at a time.. and did not chew well. After that I offered them one by one.. which took a while since she would eat 60 large at a time. I have not found an undigested worm in her stool since.
