Those are correct places to take temperatures. Try to feed your buddy often. If you don't have a good eater, you may want to offer different feeders. Some just aren't fond of crickets. Also, I would make sure you remove that water dish and remove your dragon from the viv and bathe them that way. They get sufficient moisture from their diet as well as bathing. Even if you don't see them drinking, they absorb water through their vent which keeps them nicely hydrated. Once you rinse the sink with no soap, just water and a rag will do, fill it up only enough where the water level won't go above their elbows. Use luke warm water sensitive enough for a baby and place your dragon inside with a clean rag where he can stand on it to remove himself from the water if he wants to. Take him out, towel him off and let him bask for about an hour or so. Doing that helps them with sheds too as well as helping them make bowel movements.

Personally, id try to move the probe so that the very tip of it is sitting directly on the surface that you are measuring (yes I know its complicated and can be frustrating to get it to sit properly - alas, this is why I have a temp gun - those probes wound me up sooooo much lol).

On another note, he is such a cutie. He seems alert and has a nice little tummy so, hopefully he will start eating soon.

By the way, did you get the reptisun tube?

Well he pooped yesterday morning while in the tube, but ate nothing since. So my wife was putting some baby food on his lips so he could lick it off. I got worried so we force feeded him two crickets just to get something in his belly, but not to much to upset him. I think since he threw up the crickets he ate last time he don't like them no more..lol.
I hope he gets better I weighed him today at 8.4grams. He's such a peanut. I hope his appetite improves, I can't be force feeding him forever. I makes me feel so bad when I have to do it.

I know you feed bad force-feeding him. When I have had to do that in the past, I made sure to make up for it by giving positive time with me when I wasn't trying to feed or give medical care. Just be sure to keep him hydrated. I sure hope he feels better soon.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
