Baby is worrying me...URGENT!

I got Basil about a week ago, and he hasn't been eating much which I thought was due to relocation stress. His tank is set up properly
as well.
His eyes are extremely sunken in, which I thought was due to dehydration, so I've got him soaking 2x a day.
I've been giving him calcium and probiotics (only about a drop a day), and he hasnt been eating much so i've been giving him babyfood.
Today when I woke up, his chin and chest were extremely black, and he wouldn't eat. When I tried to give him babyfood he opened his mouth very widely for about a second and then closed it.
Its strange cause he'll go through extreme lethargy with his eyes closed when I think he's not going to make it, and then he'll be up on his feet running around.
Ideas?
I'm getting very worried.

I should also add that he's been pooping regularly, with the exception of this morning when it was a bit runny and only white.
Right now he's hardly even opening his eyes. I cant believe that this has all happened in the past few hours.
Hes also not moving his legs anymore. Helllllp!

Update: Basil passed away just now. I don't know what happened, since it was all so fast, but hopefully hes in a better place now. I'm a bit shaken up, I'll post later probably.

Where did you get Basil from? Were there any kind of gaurentee offered from them? If not, concider going to a vet. Good luck to you .

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that Basil has passed. I wonder if he had some sort of infection that he wasn't showing symptoms for.

Thats what I'm wondering too. It was such a fast progression of symptoms that I really don't know.
I knew going into getting a dragon from PetCo meant that something like this was likely to happen...but it still sucks.

Oh no. I'm so sorry. I guess the "care" he received from PetCo was just too bad for him to overcome. At least Basil got to experience love and proper care in the time he was with you.

Emily, I am so sorry to hear about that! I am sure you did everything perfect but unfortunately when we buy them from pet stores we just don't know if they are carrying anything or sick! And I am sure Basil had it when you first got him! So he is in a better place now so keep your head up!! Their was no way for you to know that he was sick!! If you need anything you can PM me!!

I had it coming when I picked out the smallest sickliest looking dragon I could find, but I really wanted to save him as I'm sure everyone can understand. I'm happy it happened sooner rather than later, before I got too attached, but regardless it's hard losing a baby
