Im going to say this up front: I cant promise baby beardies at this moment. Im actually hoping to use this as a way to convince my friend to NOT do something I think is really stupid.
You see, a friend of mine has a pair beardies, one male and one female, and the female just had a clutch of eggs.
There was a power outage so she is sure most of the eggs wont survive but she doesnt have the space or resources to care for the surviving eggs once they hatch.
She plans to release them in Southern California so they can live 'in the wild'. Im seriously worried about this since I know both her beardies were completely domestic so that means the babies will to.
She wont listen to me when I ask to sell or adopt them out so I figured if enough people showed interest in adopting/buying them she might be convinced to give at least some of the surviving eggs (once they hatch) to some new owners.
We both live in northern California (I believe she lives in either Seaside or Marina, I was never really sure) so if you live somewhere in that area and are interested in some beardie babies please respond about your interest here.
