baby BD wont eat help plz

Ok so i baby bd wasnt ate his crix or his greens since yesterday jus a lil info on him i had him for 2weeks now so hes about 6 to 8wks old have him n a 55g tank . I have a 10.0 UVB reptilsun light have a 100watt basking light temp are 103 hot side and 79 cool side .

So the ? is y wont he eat i got sum PW on the way for him all he do is basking all day i give him a bath 2days n a row

SO PLZ!!! HELP MY BABY CUZ IM REALLY LUV HIM A LOT WILL POST PIC WEN I GET HOME

Sometimes beardies will skip a day eating. Has he pooped regularly? Is he getting ready to shed?

Yes he poop all tha time i dnt c a signs of shed yet but may hes bout 2

I wouldn't worry yet, but if he doesn't eat by tomorrow you may want to try some turkey or squash babyfood.

I havn't tried them with my dragon but from what I've heard most dragons love them.

How long have you had your little guy?

Ive noticed in another post you say that you are wondering how you should handle your baby. My advice would be to leave him be until he has settled into an eating routine. Some dragons just need longer to adjust. Ive been there with my youngster.

Just to make sure, is your ReptiSun 10.0 a tube or compact/coil type?

Also, as to temps, with what and how are you going about gauging temps? The 103 temp, is that the temps directly under the heat lamp?

Sounds very good. I just always like to make sure that the basking temp is an actual temp under the lamp, rather than just that "side" of the tank. I concur with the others, that perhaps your little guy just needs a little bit of adjusting time.

We had good luck with this approach. The PWs did really seem to stimulate our girl's appetite at a time when she was not eating well, and not very accepting of crickets. http://www.phoenixworms.com is great. They send priority mail and don't charge for shipping.
