Baby BD Bleeding

We have 18, 3 week old BD's. I noticed some blood in the tank and soon found where it was coming from. It is coming from the eye of one of the BD. The BD are curently slpit into two tanks (9 in each tank) and are all eating greens, 1/4 crickets and small dubia roaches. Has anyone experienced this with any newborn BD's?

I've never experience that but is it possible for you to post a pic of this baby's eye?
Also I would seperate that one for now to give him/her a better chance.

I thought about that but afraid it might to much on him as he is eatting and doing what the others are. Also there are hatchlings coming out tonight so off for more tanks tonight.

What does the eye look like now? Does it seem like he can see out of it?

I'd watch closely because being he maybe slightly handicapped for the moment. If so the others could take advantage of that an he will be shunned/trampled. I have before several years ago had a not so healthy baby and before I could seperate it several of the clutchmates were trying to bite at him and would always lay on him keeping him from getting UVB. Seperating it will keep it from being injured and will allow it to get maxium food and UVB which is important if you want to make sure this little one has the best chance.

I understand what it's like when babies are hatching...the scurry to have all set ups ready with lighting ready and temps set. Been there done that. :roll:

I am happy to report that there has been no sign of bleeding and the babyseems as well as the other 17 brothers and sisters. Thanks for your replies & concerns.
