I have been a member here for a little bit now but since i just received my baby, i thought i should do the intro thing now

How old is your dragon? almost 8wks
How long have you had your dragon? 2hrs

What size enclosure do you have your dragon in? Right now a 20 gal long, only until we finish her custom enclosure of 4x3x2
What type substrate do you have on the bottom of your tank? papertowels
Do you use UVB lights? yes
If so, Is it a coil, compact, fluorescent tube, or Mercury Vapor bulb? Fourescent tube
What is the brand name and number of your bulb? Wattage (if MVB)? ReptiSun 10.0
How old is your UVB bulb? new
How close can your dragon get to the UVB? 6"
Do you use a separate basking bulb? What kind and what is the wattage? Yes, 100 watt housebold bulb
What are the basking temps? 110
What is the cool side temp? 86
Do you take the temps with a stick on thermometer, a digital thermometer with a wire and a probe end or a temp gun? Digital w/ Probe
Where exactly are you taking your basking temps? placed thermometer on log under basking light
Do you use a heat rock or heat pad? no
What do you feed your dragon? Please be specific. crickets, mealworms, salads (but she has not eatten anything yet) and on tuesday she will have phoenix worms
How often do you feed and what time do you feed (morning, afternoon, night)? Mornings and nights

How you doing great to see everything is A-Okay...except the meal worms.
Because your baby is so young I honestly don't recommened the meal worms. The problem is they cause impaction and they aren't nutritious at all, mainly just fatty and can be used as a treat but waxworms would be a better treat.

I would agree with you, but she is one of Anthony's (beardedwizard) babies and that is what he has been feeding her. They are the mini ones.

Once she settles in I plan on eliminating the meal worms and crickets and providing her with phoenix worms and silkies and then supers and horn worms once she gets bigger.

Along with her salads of course. :mrgreen:

Allison, she will be 10 weeks Monday I believe, I think I gave you her birthday in the baby description...

And yes as suggested earlier to Emily, you should ween her off the meal worms as they are great for fast growing babies, but they are not needed as they grow into their Juvenile/sub-adult months. She was feed crickets, mini meal worms(1/8"-1/4") and phoenix worms, so she will have no problem eating either one of those. Once she is big enough super worms will become an option, as that's what I feed my adults as a staple, along with crickets and the occasional wax worm.

She loves her salad, so make sure you have plenty of greens on hand, and you will see what I mean when she starts eating!(she is a real pig)

I just want to say sorry for the misunderstanding I thought you were feeding the big ones.
And I trust Anthony here big time with his breeding and after both you say get them off the mealworms I see it's really good thinking.
