Usually with pets, people like the baby version more than the grown up version. For example, puppy's are everybodies favorite thing. With beardies, in my opinion, its opposite. Baby beardies are a headache compared to adults. Adults eat more veggies and are just chill. Babys run around frantically when you let them loose and its a risky operation. Adults just find somewhere they like and watch whats going on around them.
But then on the other hand beardie's are more exciting. When watching my baby beardie go on hunt mode when i drop a bunch of crickets its alot more entertaining than adults. My adult beardie just passed and i got a 3 week old baby (Lola)about 2 months ago and im just relating to all the stuff i used to have to do when ajax was a baby, and remembering all the cool stuff i used to do with ajax that i cannot do with Lola yet.
Which do you prefer. I think having your first beardie as a baby and letting him/her grow to a adult, then getting another baby is probably a better argument. Just having one beardie and relating to all the stuff you remember doing isnt really the same as going threw it all again.
Another side problem im having right now is my new beardie is right in the middle stage in cricket sizes. I dont wanna spend a bunch of more money and buy the small crickets, but i also dont wanna feed her the crickets that are too large. Another month or so and that wont be a problem anymore.
