Aurora and Leo ...Pictures!

I just wanted to start a thread with updates. I know I need to update.. I have 1 more final tomorrow. So there will be lots of updates and lots of pictures.

If you did not see my introduction thread... this is one of Barbara's babies from the first clutch, sister to the infamous Bligg! Mommy and daddy are Ms. Tiggs and PVT Blaze!

With that, she has been doing ok.. She likes diving in my tub! We had a little set back with something but that is all set. Aurora also got a new brother, who isn't really mine, more like my boyfriends. His name is Helios or Leo for short.

Ok updating later someone bother me to update because if no one brings up my thread I forget..

Good weigh ins! She's a little shorter than my girls but close in weight! Fiona is always very yellow and bright but Belle is usually not as colorful unless she has her "Happy" colors on!

Aurora looks great. The way she holds her head and the facial expressions looks very familiar.

It sure is obvious that she enjoyed all the attention, everyone was there for her, didn't you know that? :lol: She looked very relaxed in all the pictures. Thanks for sharing them.

Of course they were there for her! She really does look pudgier then she is..
Btw.. I'm jealous of Fiona.. Sometimes Rory gets so SO dark.. it makes me sad. She is usually dark while she's in her tank basking, when I take her out.. surprise, surprise!!! she lightens up and get's back to her easter egg colors.

Rory has been talking to her sisters and brothers.. because she is just wanting to eat anything.. I left some superworms and dubia in a dish she might have gone after some.. or they're loose in her tank..

She's out right now running around like a maniac.. I might take her to work because my boss always asks how my alligator is. And also she's turned into my teacup puppy lol, she goes with me everywhere. She came to the barn with me the other day and got to sit outside.

Love the pictures!!! I brought mine to Easter too. Got some scared reactions,but most people that Louie was cool!!

Rory got forgot about.. oh well.

She is doing ok.. we were having a tough time getting her temps right with the increase in outside temp, and now with the decrease.

I'm very very busy with school, she hasn't been wanting to eat much, I did buy 4 containors of hornworms though and of course she loves them. She's still a basking machine and does it every day.

Rachel dear I didn't forget about Rory I just got really busy last month and a few of the babies slipped through the postings. Plus having 2 more perminate resident beardies didn't help matters any...Roux is so precious that she takes up all my spare time. Sorry...

The slow down in eating seems to be very normal for these siblings, several of them went through it.
I wonder if grandma or grandpa was like that because Blaze was. Beardies in general will slow down as they get to about 16" to 17" long. Just keep those horns coming. :lol:

Rory slurped up those hornworms like I, that's right ME, I had been starving her.. Leo did too. He's been basking a lot lately, finally, he was so sleepy for a while, I played around with his lights too. I think it's time to get new repti-sun's also.

Does anyone know when you count the 6 months from, because I had the light in Rory's tank for about 2-ish months before I put it in?

How am I besides school? Stressed, it's all I do and think about.
I miss all my babies, things are getting easier because I have sold 5 of my geckos. I have 5 left. That was way too many. My boyfriend who's house burnt down in January just moved into the new one, so he's been there.. and ugh.. Idk everythiiiiiiiiing.

I'm sorry life is being so stressful for you right now Rachel. Hang in there!

The reptisun time starts counting from the day you turn it on and put it into use.

Gratz on rehoming the 5 baby geckos and good luck on the next 5. Baby anything is time consuming. Which sounds like all your time right now is mainly directed to school which is a good thing. :wink: So being relieved of baby chores and duties should help a little.

So you got your space back huh? How's your bf like his new place?
