Arm waving

I wasn't really sure what my bearded dragon was doing till I looked it up and he has started arm waving today. It's really cute but just so random. Is there any reason why he's doing this? My cast was sitting up in the window which is by his tank could he have been doing it because my cat was there?

Could have been the cat, could have been his reflection, could have been you passing by, could have been pretty much anything really.

Arm waving is their submissive gesture. It basically means "yes I see you, and now you see me, and I don't want to fight...please don't eat me".

A slow head bob is similar, but less submissive...more of a greeting to equals or females to males.

A fast head bob is an aggressive gesture. It means more of "hey look at me! I'm in charge here!"

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
