Arm waving for no reason?

I have two beardies. Both male. One is Ivan Pavlov and the other is sigmund freud. I've had Freud since he was 2 months, and I just got Ivan Pavlov. I believe Pavlov is about 1 year and 3 months. Freud is about 8 months. Pavlov is much bigger. I know that male dragons are aggressive with each other and very territorial. My question is why is Pavlov, the bigger one, waving his arm and head bobbing at nothing. Freud is on the other side of the room and they cannot see eachother

They may be able to sense eachother even from across the room. It's also possible that he's just going through his teenager phase and the timing is coincidence. If that's the case, he should calm back down in time. Just keep an eye on both of them and make sure their appetites are good and they aren't losing weight which would indicate stress or sickness.

Freud is good with eating and what not, but Pavlov just won't eat his crickets. He doesn't chase them. He just waits until the come by or I hand feed him. And even then it takes 5 minutes just to get him to eat one cricket because he closes his eyes when my hands go near his face

I also was wondering why the big guy is arm waving at the little guy?

Every bearded dragon is different. Animals don't have the same awareness of their own size like humans do. This is why you will sometimes see smaller males going at it with larger ones, because they don't dissect the data the same way.

For the cricket eating issue I would suggest a separate container for cricket feeding for Pavlov. I started feeding mine in a small 10 gallon tank, since they have too many hiding spots in his 60 gallon home.

Could very well be just a non-dominant/alpha male. Zeek is a wuss too. He submits to other males, my dogs, and even me.
