Are there really 500 crickets in 500 boxes?

I am just wondering if there really ARE 500 crickets in 500 qty boxes?

I've bought one and I felt like there's too few for there to be 500 crickets inside.

It always seems that way. But if you count, you'll be surprised lol! Unless you are buying from someone shady I guess. But they usually do it by weight, and for that reason most places usually put in more than they say.

Yeah most vendors I've worked with include some extra as a goodwill gesture and to make up for any that die in transit.
