The supers are o.k. as long as you use the smaller ones, don't use the full sized ones as he is not large enough to eat them without getting impacted. We fed Goldie the medium supers (Order the small ones they will last longer but they are really tiny) when she was about 12 inches long and she didn't have any problems with them but I believe she was older than her size indicates. We got her on the last Friday of August of 08 and she was about 6 or 7 inches long and was easily sexable to us. She didn't eat a lot for the previous owners who didn't have a
uvb light for her. As soon as we got her under the uvb (reptisun 10 tube) she started scarfing down her food and gained weight and length immediately. Rosie, we got one month later and she refused crickets when she saw us feeding a Goldie supers. She wasn't very long then but that's when we bought the small supers and found that they were very tiny, the next time we bought medium supers and they were about the right size for their length.
I hope this gives you an idea.
We would like to see pics of your beardie. We love beardie pics here.
