any other important info about bearded dragons?

Don't worry, I'm not buying from petco, petsmart, ect. I'm getting mine from a family owned store called head to tail pet supplies, and they specialize in bearded Dragons, and have a rescue for them, so they know what there doing. Thanks for the info

Hey, you're in my area! I go to Head to Tails too. Love the rescue work Cathi does. I don't have a bearded dragon yet but I've went there for roaches for my leopard geckos.

can you feed roaches to dragons? i dont know if you can, but i swear someone told me you could

Dubia roaches are a good staple bug for dragons. Once you get a colony started they are pretty economical and easy to care for as well.

I don't know if they sell them or not, but they may know where to get them. I ordered a bunch online to start my colony.

I started my colony from males and females I bought at Head to Tails. They have all different sizes. Takes awhile to get them going. My colony is almost a year old and I have recently been able to feed them as a staple to my two geckos and sell a couple hundred medium nymphs.
