Any Chance This Is a Lawon's Dragon Instead of Mainland

We got this bearded dragon from an aquarium store last week and they said it was a standard bearded dragon. They also said he was 6 months old. My buddy keeps saying that a six month beardie would be much bigger by now. Any chance this is a lawson dragon? Was hoping for the standard full size variety, but will love whatever we have.

Hi. That's definitely not a rankins. It's a normal beardie. A very cute one . Don't worry about size some are just smaller. Like human beings some are tall some are short.

To me your dragon looks like a leatherback (but I could be wrong). The leatherback's have smaller finer scales that feel much smoother to the touch than a standard bearded dragon. He/she is super cute!

Well for one they are hardly ever sold in pet stores and their pattern is different. If you Google Lawsons dragons you can see the difference.
