I am fairly new to the bearded dragon world and have been told by my vet that I have been doing a great job taking care of them. I have two beardies, one is about 150g and 6-8 months old and the other is 60g and about 5-6 months old. The past couple days the smaller one has been harassing the bigger one. Been biting, chasing and showing off its beard. I have to intervene sometimes and they stop but get back at it shortly afterwards. I am not sure what sex they are since they are still young but I have looked on their tails after their vent and I think the bigger is a female and the smaller is a male. I have only had these guys for about 6 months so I still am pretty new. Any advice would be helpful.

Seperate them immediately!
Bearded dragons are solitary creatures and will fight each other to death!
One will always get more heat, uvb and food and bully the other one around, injure or even kill him!
Please get a second set up ASAP!
Also whats the size of your beardies? They seem a little underweight. But you can already see that one is thriving more cause he gets all the heat, uvb, food etc.

I have enough stuff to separate them but would that be indefinitely? They have always gotten along until yesterday when the little one started biting at the big one. The big one is maybe 9 inches long and the little one is about 7 inches, that's just a guess I haven't actually measured them. They both get enough food and there isn't any competition and they pretty much lay with each other all day when basking. Also the bigger one was by itself for a couple months until I got the other one so there is a difference in age but that could be the big difference in weight.

Too many times innocent beardies got injured or even killed by a "cage mate". We all just want the best for our babies and since they dont get "lonely" or need a "buddy" its totally fine to house them alone.

separate them asap. bearded dragons are normally solitary and only come together to mate. by the sounds of things the bigger one is preventing the smaller one from getting enough food which is why its not as big as the other one.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
