My baby beardie is roughly 9 weeks old, and he almost always seems hungry. We feed him 1-2 times a day, and I almost think we're overfeeding him, but everyone says to "feed them as much as they want in a 15m interval". We give him roughly 10 crickets twice a day, or sometimes some wax worms when we have them. It's hard to judge exactly how much he wants because some days he won't even go for one (he has shed a lot recently), and other days, he won't stop going to his 'feeding spot' (despite having him for just 3 weeks, he's already taught himself how to tell me when he's hungry) no matter how much we give him!
Anyways, multiple times now, I've noticed a weird substance in the cage that looked like hardened-yet-mashed cricket guts, and I can only assume it's him purging up from eating too much, so I'm getting worried to the point where I have to cut him off despite him asking for more food. Is this wrong? Is it not him regurgitating? Should I even be worrying?
(If it's not clear yet, I'm only as experienced for as long as I've had him: 3 weeks)
