Aggresive female

So i have a 1/2 year old female her name is danny.(daenerys)
and i also have a 1/2 year old male name Niklous

danny and klous our in seperate tanks, klous is fairly new to our home.
we (my bf and i)tried to introduce them gave them space and then my danny started to rotate her arm and bob her head slwoly(showing submission right?) then klous puffs up real big all blackbearded bobs his head fast so we assumed oh there going to mate and were prepared for this because we hoped we could breed them but as soon he goes for neck she whips around puffed up pancaked turned at an angle flicking her tail and the goes to bite his legs.

is there no hope for them just to be able to live together
im assuming ill need a new female in the future if theres no hope

It is best to wait until your female is 2 years before breeding her. Also, the male and female should not be housed in the same vivarium. Ideally they should live in separate vivariums and only brought together to breed, otherwise the male can harass the female.

Agreed! Don't house beardies together as it will not work. They only get together in the wild to mate.

She's too young to breed yet. You should really wait until she's fully grown
(about 18-24 months...lean towards 24 if you're not certain).

To me that sounds less like aggression and more like
she just wasn't feeling receptive to breeding and let him know it.
