Adopted a bearded dragon with one Eyeball bigger than the other

Eye problems recently adopted a full grown female. She seems happy and healthy but one eyeball is bigger than the other. I took her to the vet and the vet wasn’t sure either other than spending more than I have on a bunch of tests until we find an answer. Has any one also experienced one eyeball larger than the other?

Hello,

Can you possibly post another picture of the larger eye, up close? I don't think I have ever seen
anything quite like this. I have seen the entire eye socket bulging, from heart issues, or an abscess,
but not literally the eye itself. Can he see out of that eye?

She seems like she can however she does favor the other a little bit.

Hello,

Interesting, I don't think I have ever seen that before. It is probably due to previous trauma of
some sort, but, it is hard to tell. The pupil & eye itself looks normal but the globe is enlarged.
It doesn't look infected, either. All I could think of to do would be to take him into a reptile vet
just to have them look it over to be sure it isn't causing any complications.
If he can see & doesn't seem to be bothered by it then as long as it doesn't get any larger, I
don't think it will hurt him.

I did the vet wasn’t sure either, she said she has never seen it before, I asked the person I adopted her from about it, he said it’s been like that since he got her as a baby. She is a petco lizard.

My boy has the same exact thing. He seems to be nearsighted in that eye and farsighted in the other. He‘s never been able to hunt his own feeders, so I’ve had to tong-feed those. Also he has no spacial awareness or depth perception, so I have to be careful he doesn’t walk off things and has nothing steep in his house.

His vet thinks it’s either a deformity from birth, or from his poor care growing up. He was a Craigslist rescue who had no UVB or proper basking lamps; just a CFL and a blue night bulb. Besides the needing the help I mentioned above, it doesn’t seem to bother or hurt him. I’ve had him for nearly 4 years now and it’s never gotten any worse.

Funny though ours look a little alike, like wonky-eyed twinsies

Hello,

I think as long as there are no changes & since it doesn't seem to hurt him that he will be fine.
You may have to help him with eating possibly but just work with him a little to see how much
he can & will do on his own.
