Addicted to Waxworms

My little guy was underweight when I got him. He was 8 grams at 6 inches. I was suggested to give him a waxworm or two throughout the day, so I did. He recieved 2-3 waxworms a day, one in the morning with his breakfast, and one in the evening with his dinner and sometimes one with his lunch. I go to give him his staple of roaches today, and he is eating one every couple hours. He usually eats them one after another so I was getting worried. My boyfriend expiremented with him today and put a waxworm in front of his face to see if he was just not hungry or craving the good stuff, and he didn't even get a chance to take it away, he quickly ate that thing as fast as he could. I don't know what to do. He doesn't want roaches now and they were his favorite.. He still needs some weight to gain he's 16 grams at 7 inches, but he's not getting another waxworm again.

Ok. I think you shouldn't give him waxworms for a while. Try something like micro super worms.

He isn't getting Waxworms for a long long time. I'll look into the superworms.
