I didn't realize when buying this online that it was plexiglass and definitely didn't know it had partial plexi on top. I've been reading up the last 2 hours or so and am worried that I have yet another tank I can't use. My 50 gallon glass I can't find a sliding screen replacement so its useless.. my husband is not savvy to make one.
Here is a picture of the tank.. I'm hoping someone can tell me if it will possibly be ok and not hold in too much humidity if I maybe hang the heat and uvb instead of setting on top with mesh. Maybe I don't need to put a screen over the holes since it's 24 in. tall and I can make his climbing not so high? My 11 year old is all sad.. again.. with another possibly failed tank. He wanted to go buy stuff for it tonight and refinish the stand we got for it.
It's 100 gallon and has two bigger holes on top, two smaller ones in the back and then two little circle holes.
