A human and his beardie - One sleepy dragon.

You ever get that feeling about your beardie that you just can't shake. The one where while you're sitting at work you just can't wait to hold you're beardie when you get home. Charmander and me have that connection, I picked her out at petsmarts amongst 20 babies. She was the obvious choice she stood out and didn't back down to my approaching finger like the rest of them. Instead she bared her teeth and held her tail high! I knew she was the perfect choice I'll never forget the fire in her eyes that day a spark that said "I'm a fighter and I will never give up!" Once I got her home she had calmed down and began the very stressful task of Adabting to her new home. The whole day I sat and watched her not once was she nervous or scared and not once did she show signs of stress. Even though everything was new to her she went about everything ready to take it on all at once! She grew on me faster than ever expected her firey eyes and spirit quickly became my life! More and more I found myself thinking of her, at work, in class, even when I left to go smoke outside! She had become my everything and I write this in honor of our love and companionship! As I watch her in her tank in the early morning light, fast asleep I wonder what she dreams about. I love my Charmander more than anything and as I write tears swell in my eyes, not tears of sadness but tears of love and joy. I know in my soul that the next 10 years will be the bet of my life! So here's to you lil lady, my everything, my soul mate, my best friend, my little Charmander! May are lives forever be intertwined!

Hmm. Just as a precaution, you may want to check with a breeder and/or a vet and/or Tracie to make sure that the stress of egg laying + slight MBD earlier in life won't affect Char's bones or health in the future. (I'm totally not an expert though! I know you'd be giving her extra calcium and such, but it might be a good idea to ask about just in case )

Well char slept for almost 48 hours!!!! I woke her up for a bath and got ready for some snuggles and for her to pass out again! Wrong shes wired more than a squirell on speed :shock: ! She's currently runnin around in circles on my stomach tickling it! It's driving me crazy hopefully she will calm down soon and go back to sleep.

She's still Sleeping!!!!!!! I guess it's full blown brumation why I thought I was almost done! Well at least I'll have my friends dragon to take care of soon. He's very pretty I'll post pics once he gets him which should be sometime this coming week.

Hahahahaha yeah I did say pretty didn't I :lol: ! Well chars still out its been 5 days now I think she's been trying to this for awhile but she's very picky about sleeping she needs it to be dark and I think she out grew her cave. So I covered her with a small towel and she hasn't crawled out since. In other news I met the most amazing women! We've been going out for a few weeks now and I couldn't be happier! Thats it for this update I'll post some pics of my sleepy char for you guys!

Again thanks for the compliments! Chars still out cold I woke her up for a bath today she is not happy with me! But she needs her hydration and then she go back to sleep. I wasn't expecting a full on brumation at her age it's sad I just want my dragon back!
