Well, we had our first funky sleeping position last night and my husband lost it!! He couldn't stop laughing and I just shook my head. I mean, what else can you do but smile, laugh and walk away. We found him in the corner, standing up, face flat against the glass and his front arm kinda flopped back. Makes you wonder!!!

Can't wait to see what's next....can anyone give me any hints as to what to expect in the future with this little guy? I've read so many things from people on here already, but I'm just curious as to what other antics he may provide!! Thanks!!

New owner and alreay a slave. Welcome to the site :) Dragon and Pauley have been known to chase my other pets, scatter their salads hither and yon to get the ONE piece of butternut squash they wanted, blackbeard their branches, and glassdance to get more attention. You will have a live comedy show with these guys!

oh he's done the glass dance thing too!!! I heard this squeaking noise and looked up and it was his little nails on the glass and he was going back and forth! I wanted to get him out, but I was dealing with my kids who are 2 and 3 so I couldn't and I felt bad.

Hasn't black bearded yet...I want to see it though just to laugh, but he's only a month old, give or take a week or 2, so he hasn't yet. He's very laid back and curious. Dives at his reflection in the glass...and mostly sits on his rock. This guy is no bigger than my palm...and I'm petite.

Yeah, we're slaves already. I wasn't sure about getting one but now I'm anticpating getting another!! We've had leopard geckos and I loved them, but this little guy just ROCKS!!! Hoping to get a red or citrus in the near future and my hubby wants an orange. He actually wants to breed, but this is just a start LOL

Don't you just love their silly sleeping positions?! To us, it looks incredibly uncomfortable, but obviously it's not to them.

As for other antics (aside from what supertrisha already mentioned), beardies are great for giving "death glares", especially when they'd been woken up too early. They're also great magicians -- hiding in places that seem physically impossible. But the one thing that almost all beardies here are naturals at is turning their viv upside down, knocking over and/or moving their furniture.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
