I mean she use to do it before it just kinda looked like she wasn't comfortable while doing it. Lately not so good. I use to drip water on her nose and she would lick till she was done. I do try to make her drink in the bath only sometimes she does drink on her own. She use to do it all the time on her own. I guess she will just need a vet. Clearly everything I have tried isn't working. I'm starting to lose hope now.

If her beard isn't blackened it would indicate she isn't too uncomfortable, and she's clearly still active meaning she is breathing alright.

I think you've got a little hormonal bundle of energy that she doesn't know what to do right now. Does she enjoy bath time or struggle to get out all the time? My oldest likes to drink from the standing water in her bath rather than dripping. I put her in and make little waves in the water and she dips down and starts drinking, but if I stop making waves she stops.

High maintenance. I tell ya

Only the tip is kind is black while doing it. Her head is all the way up while doing it. She likes baths and loves to swim. At least for a bit then she is done and triesee to get out. But for the most part she just sits there relaxing. I may give her one soon since she is out now. That seems to calm her down after

Ok, that's good at least!

I'd let her take a soak if it calms her down.
I honestly just went with this with my oldest, nothing made her happy and she didn't want food. Just wanted to slap around and take baths.. I just don't want to belittle any of your concerns regarding her health because I'm definitely no expert.

I think regardless a vet checkup is a great idea just to make sure she's happy and healthy

Well she is calm now but she isn't in her tank she is on her pillow on the couch with me. Maybe like I said before she might just want to be out here with me. Maybe I should move her set up out here so she is with us. Since we spend most the time out here and not in the room with her

If you've got the room, I would.
It makes it easier to check on her and also helps her not feel excluded if she's in the room where all the action is.

Both my enclosures are in my living room, and back when I lived in my apartment and had just the 1, she was also in my living room. She may have just wanted some love and attention :) They're not like mammals in the sense that they crave affection but I genuinely believe they enjoy the interaction with people they trust

Well I could make room for her. Anything to help her feel better. Already got a turtle and fish aquarium out here so one more won't hurt I guess.

Oh for sure that's why I got her in the first place. Right when I walked up to her display at petsmart. She jumped from her rock and was glass dancing and wanted out. I fell in love right away and bought her a few days after. She was the biggest one there too. They were happy I took her everyone there loved her too. She was probably about to be sent back for being to big and there to long.

So I think I saved her in a sense since people usually want the babies

Awww :D How sweet. It's always good to not only love your pet but feel good about taking them from what could be a bad situation.

My youngster was a petshop baby (both were) but he wasn't moving well, super underweight, and likely would have been the sickly one they got rid of. Should I have encouraged this by making a purchase? No. But I asked to hold him and got the saddest lizard eyes ever when I made eye contact with him and I melted. Here we are about 3 months later...

I've got some african dwarf frogs in my living room, too. It's the family room and pets are family! :blob5:

Yeah for sure she is loved. She is my first reptile the turtle is my gf she saved him though so he's not the nicest turtle. Was neglected most of his life.

She may just want to be part of the family out here in suppose. She did grow up with the fish and turtle right across from her.

That's awesome you saved your guy! I hate going to pet shops now and seeing all the lizards I want them all !

I've always wanted frogs too! Definitely not getting any more pets until Layla is back to normal for a while at least

I'm the same way. I look every time I go to the store and I just want to pocket all of them, but then I remember having to buy a new tank.. and lights.. and tiny food.. ... seems pretty worth it...

I think if I were to move the lizards to another room they would be frantic, so that could be it. How recent was the move to the other room?

And ADF are super easy. They're in a 10g by themself, 3 of them. Expecting tadpoles soon, I've got two singing males and one chubby female... I'd love to get a pac-man frog eventually once my youngest dragon is done being a garbage disposal since they also eat roaches and I'm making my own in the basement anyway

Well it was a complete move from my parents to my apartment. She wasn't even fazed by the move. we moved in the summer. She was about 1 or 2 months. She kept eating like normal. Even when I bought her a new tank she seemed fine. But maybe her Temps went down or something but they seemed fine and she seemed fine. I really need to get a temp gun

Yeah so not to sure what she wants. So i think I'm going to move her out in the family room. And take her Styrofoam background off I guess since it's flaking now. I found a temp guns on amazon.can for 18$ was the cheapest one on sale. Should be here by Monday and I can get her Temps 100% right. She also need a new uvb light still so will be getting that tomorrow hopefully

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
