Our 7 month old beardie had a poop on Friday with a tiny pink tinge to it, his poop Saturday was normal, but today's has a noticeable amount of blood.
Only thing I could think that may have caused this is that We've been feeding him more and bigger horn worms which are his favorite treat since Friday , and the horn worms were pretty large. 3 turned black and died by Saturday, and others begun darkening as well but were alive so we feed him 4 of the darker ones yesterday and another one this morning that began darkening this morning.
He has now pooped what appears to be blood.
Breeder said he may have ripped something due to the size of the horn worms, and advised to feed him light and monitor him for the next few days. Any other suggestions or advice is appreciated
Thanks kyzer.
