I just got a 4 year old beardie from a friend, and she had lived in a 30 gallon her whole life. I moved her to a 40 gallon breeder with much more room and I take her out every day, but she doesnt move much in or out of her tank. I've fed her once, 11 superworms, and I was wondering if I should feed her more live food or wait until she goes to the bathroom first? I've given her a bath and she has veggies in her tank.

when u give her a bath try massaging her tummy also you can try to feel for any hard lumps..
do you know if she's laid eggs before?

Who would've thought that lizard poop could be so worrisome! Lol :) It's not uncommon for some lizards to only poop once every week or two, and I remember reading on here that someone's herp vet said it's okay for adults to go up to 14 days without pooping (I'm not an expert but that sounds reasonable to me!). As long as your dragon doesn't appear uncomfortable and you can't feel anything hard in her belly it should be fine. :)

Some things you can do for your little lady are increasing her oral fluid intake to make sure she's hydrated enough, and increasing her warm baths as well since they absorb water through their vents. You can gently massage her tummy in the bath too, like jelly said. :) Good foods to help get a beardie's insides moving are olive oil, unsweetened applesauce, babyfood prunes, or plain canned pumpkin without any spices in it.

Good luck!! :) (Also, if it helps any, my 4 year old male just pooped yesterday after 9 days of no poo. There wasn't anything hard in his belly, and I tried extra baths and fluids and canned pumpkin and such after day 7 of no poop, but apparently he just... wasn't ready to poop yet? :dontknow: Lol).

hahaha okay! Thank you, that makes me feel a bit better.

Should i get back to feeding her every second day? 6-8 worms and such?

Live feeders should be fine :) (my big guy gets 5 supers daily. Plus veggies, not like he actually eats those though  lol). As far as I know, the only time when no poop + live feeders can possibly hurt them is when the dragon is impacted.
If you're still worried or not sure, you can continue with the veggies and offer baby food instead of the feeders until poop time finally happens. :) Squash baby food seems to be a running favorite with most of the beardies on here, just make sure there aren't any added sugars/sodium/gross chemicals in there. And you can add a pinch of vitamins/calcium to the baby food too so she's not missing out on supplements :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
