That is good the urates are at least white & soft then. Stringiness can happen sometimes, are there any solid portions along with it, too?
Is she eating pretty well?

She ate very well today, she attacked her salad like she has not ate in a week. She didn't want much for liquid by mouth today, but she is like totally acting normal and breathing fine again! Which is great! The nebs and the liquid enzyme seems to be working

That is terrific news to hear! Perhaps the nebulization is really helping her out right now. So her breathing is much improved? That is very promising, I hope that it continues to help her get better.

Yes I was not a big believer in the silver, but it has really changed my mind that is for sure. I don't think I would try to treat with anything with her symptoms without trying that first. She is back to her normal breathing, total turnaround. How long should I continue to do the nebs for her do you think? Since it is most likely a relapse of pneumonia that never cleared all the way? Does this stuff disinfect tanks and kill things as well? I was wondering because I was thinking about using the neb around the room if it does kill things for the carpet. lol I know it might sound crazy, but all my reptiles play on the floor and if it were something contagious I figured hey let's neb bomb the room.. hahhaaha

Wow, that is really wonderful that the nebulization has helped her so much. I think because it is penetrating more deeply into her tissues. How long have you been doing the treatments on her now?
Since it has been a reoccurring issue, I would say at least 3-4 weeks, to be sure it's all cleared out.
It is an antimicrobial/antibacterial type of agent. You can use it for sanitizing, etc or for a stronger one you can use novalsan or lemon quaternium for cleaners in the room that are safe.
I have never used it for cleaning glass tanks, but you can always try it for that use. It would definitely be safe without any off gasing fumes.
Honestly, I am pretty surprised she has improved this quickly, but am happy she is doing so much better.

she is doing fantastic Tracie Her urates went back to normal. Am now a bit worried for a parasite infection. Stinky poo! booooo... Will get that checked out. Otherwise she is doing fabulous. Still doing the nebs. No breathing issues at all. yay!

Just get a fecal done to see what is going on there. If she has worms/parasites it is likely due to all of the stress she had been through lately.

Hun she is in a full blown relapse from when she started. She was given Metronidazole for her gram negative being so high, and baytril for her breathing, some metcam. I now have some generic baytril, something called Anti-ProtoZole Treatment, I believe it is the generic for Metronidazole??????? Is it the same as metro? Can I mix it with the baytril? I still have good Metcam as well. I need to get her started now, before it's too late, she almost died last time when it got to this point. I don't know how to dose her out for every 24 hr on it or anything. Please help Tracie! Ty

I have the actual bottles from the vet. first one is lower dosage at 50ml the one I got is 100ml so have to cut in half, the baytril I got is 10 percent, the one the vet I had was 20, so have to double that one correct?

I got the doses figured out, can I also do the nebs with the silver still? I am also using Metro antibiotic as well with the baytril, and bene bac, metcam. doing exactly what they did for her the very first time around. I read that gram negative rods can be very hard to fight and she is almost 8 now. keeping her warm at night as well.. They had me doing the metro every 12 hrs. I figured out what and how much that would be for her weight now from the old bottle, plus her new weight. I am just so frustrated she went into a full relapse again. So frustrating.

No nothing changed in the room she is in. The only thing I did was a deep cleaning of her tank and put in paper towel until the tile was dry and washed all her decor.

Maybe it was just not completely gone previously perhaps which caused a relapse. Poor girl, I was hoping that was it & she was past it.
Let us know how she is doing. Keep trying with her, she has great fighting spirit!
