No, its not big enough! I use a 2x2x4, anything smaller wouldn't allow for much room for exercise(aka, exploring). Bigger vivs also allow for better heat gradients. To sum it up a happy dragon is a healthy dragon!
Not to be argumentative but this simply is not true. A 36" x 18" x 18" is perfectly fine for a baby or a juvenile. A 4' x 2' x 2' is needed for an adult and would be fine for a baby, but in no way is this size necessary for a baby to thrive.
Maybe i should have explained my reasoning a little deeper!
Ok, let's all agree that yes, it is big enough for a baby or juvie. Relocation stress Is hard on them at any age. Now since we now have this FAST GROWING creature cooped up in a sub-sized viv, then when he gets to big for it in 8 or 9 months the poor creatures world gets turned upside down as he is moved into a larger 2x2x4 viv. Relocation stress sets in and, he stops eating, during a critical phase in his life (puberty.... a time when he gets hormonal and moody anyway). Adding undue stress at this time is not healthy. Not to mention the expense of outfitting a new viv.
I say start off with what he will actually need in the begining and avoid the undue stress and, adde expense.
