The hemipenal bulges on a male bearded dragon will be two bulges, one on each side of the tail following the vent.
The hemipenal bulges on a female bearded dragon will be one single bulge in the center of the tail following the vent.
It can be hard to tell until the dragon has grown past 6-7 inches in length.
With that said, I looks like you are a proud parent of a male.

Hi there, you can't tell a dragon's sex by that type of position. You have to put him flat on a table and arch his tail high in the air. Here's how to do it.

These are two very effective sexing methods:

The normal way, View media item 61100 When doing this make sure he/she is on a flat surface (such as a table or counter) and lift the tail up to around a 90* angle.

and The Flashlight method. View media item 60481 When doing this method do the same way as the normal way, but use a extremely bright flashlight (the brighter the better) and a dark (preferably windowless) room.
