So, my geckos get fed in bowls at night since they all keep crazy hours. They only get dubai, silk, and repti-worms so nothing that can get lose and eat them. Do you think it would be ok to give the Dragon their leftover bugs in the morning? She is a much better eater than they are. It would be nice to have something that will clean them up for me. I don't know if you think there would be a illness issue with doing so. I have had them all at least a month (the geckos) and they all appear to be healthy. One I've had for 3 months so I know she is GTG.

Also, what do you do to keep Beardie leaves fresh in the fridge? I bought 3 different types of leaves and of course that amounted to way more than she will eat. Do you guys just eat more greens yourself? Is there some secret I am not aware of?

I don't know about the gecko question technically, but personally I wouldn't share bugs between the gecko and beardie in the event they share some kind of germ, but that's just my opinion which is not based on any actual fact

As far as the greens are concerned, I've been able to keep bunches of mustard greens and chard for up to a week by keeping it head first in the plastic baggie you put it in when you get it at the grocery store...I get one bunch a week and alternate between chard and mustard greens...

We are eating more greens as a family since we got our dragon! Both collards and shredded butternut squash is good in spaghetti sauce!

I peel then shred about a half of squash when I first get it and put it in a plastic fast food container that has a little vent hole in the top (hot foods originally came in it) The remaining piece I cover the end with plastic wrap and put in the veggie drawer of the fridge. The squash seems to weep sugars on the cut part and I have to recut the end when we need more squash shredded.

For the collards, I don't wash it until right before I feed it but I do go ahead and cut about 3-4 days worth up and put it in a plastic storage container with a tight fitting lid, when I pull his food out for the day I rinse it and gently squeeze out the extra water.

Leafy greens do better in the fridge if they are not wet - but they do like moisture, so you could try a moist paper towel in the bag of greens. Depending on the humidity of your fridge you may want to leave the bag open or you may want to loosly wrap the bag around itself to keep it closed.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
