sweetiepie: Either way... for size, it might be easier to break it up into a few emails... especially since your email ISP may not support emails that large. My own server will be able to handle it, though.
Just make sure you include the requested info in EACH email.
Alex, I am trying to decide between pictures. We have a couple of them that are really nice, but due to a small small chip in the lens, there is like a little sun spot. Can you fix that? I didnt even want to take those pics into consideration if that was not something you could work with.
Depends on how small. If the shot looks really good over all, and I'm motivated to really want to use it for a full page... I'll take the effort to "clean up". I remember one picture that I really loved form a couple years back. The carpet has specs and lint and stuff. I cleaned all that up making it look picture-perfect.
So, yeah... if it's small enough and workable, and I am moved by the image itself... I'll work with cleaning it up a little. I do try to see past minor and easily correctable blemishes.
oh yeah... also... the blemishes are best in a low profile area of the photo without much detail that needs to be retained (i.e. Not on the beardies face or main focus of the image). If it's in a high profile position, it makes it much harder to correct and not have the correction noticed.
Wow. After I read that I went back and looked.
Why didn't I look at those full-sized?
Oh well. I suppose they'll just be small side-shots then. :|
If you want to try taking some new ones and resubmit, I'll accept them.
For everyone: Make sure you look at your pictures at full resolution (100%). Things often look sharp when shrunk down to fit your screen. Definitely look at them in their real quality level.
LuvMyHerps, please see the first post where Alex explained how to submit pictures as they need to be emailed to him following the rules that he has set up. Posting them here will not work for the calendar.
