2 males together

OK, what will happen if I have 2 adult male bearded dragons and put them together OUTSIDE of their cages? Since they are not in their own cages will they not fight since it's not their territory? Or will they fight? Will they just sit and stare at each other?

More likely than not they will fight. Why would you want to do this in the first place?

Not a very good idea, one will HAVE to establish dominance.

yeah thats not a good idea. If its not their territory they will try to make it there territory and could result in fighting.

It depends on the beardies. Try it for a little while, but be there incase they decide to get tempremental. You may not have a problem, yet you might.

i have 4 dragons 3 of which i adopted..one has a half of tail and only 3 feet, the other on is missing toes on one foot and a half a tail as well and the third one got lucky and only suffered a half of tail. all my adopted dragons were housed with others.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but Zak-n-Wheezie and Checker's go with us for car rides together and they don't seem to mind each other. But just because Zak, Wheezie, and Checker's are tolerant of each other this year doesn't mean they will be next year or tomorrow for that matter. I don't let them roam the house at the same time this would be different than getting to go for a ride I'd think. While going for a ride they are all preoccupied with the world going by so they really aren't paying attention that there's another male nearby.

I would be afraid to let them roam at the same time as it only takes less than a blink of an eye for something awful to happen.

i don't recommend it, but i do have two adult males together right now. they had it out with eachother the second day of being together, nothing serious just some head butts, hissing, head bobs and tail slaps. since then they have been totally fine with eachother..they eat sleep and drink together.

but again, it's not something i would ever recommend and as soon as i have space available they are going to be sperated, i don't usualy like keeping more than 1 to a cage unless they are female..and even then problems may arise.
