So my wife and I looked at how much it would coast to buy a months of crickets it came out to around 90 bucks.....that's a ton. Sure I could have gone and bought 500 for 15 but that's no fun so I spent 10 bucks on adult crickets and 3 bucks on a bag of diet. The rest I had laying around at home. I used a large plastic tote to hold them, egg cartons, paper towel roll, old container for laying eggs and left over food. Placed it all in the tub filled the old containter w dirt and let the adult crickets out. About 1hour later I had the female crickets starting to lay eggs!!! That took place for almost 3 hours. Tomorrow I am going to pull the container of dirt wet it down and cover it with clear wrap. I have a separate container to incubat them untill hatched!!!!
