Ok, I’ll make sure I do it daily when he opens his eyes, yes his saliva was stringy, that’s what concerned me

He might not drink everyday but you can offer it to him. The stringy saliva could be dehydration so just keep offering him it when he is kinda awake :)

For UVB, heater, and thermostat.. I would suggest changing to Arcadia 12% desert T5, for heater an Arcadia Deep Heat Projector, and for thermostat a Habistat Dimming Stat. You at least have guarantee that Stat and DHP will last years with UV lasting you up to a year. I use all three, and I highly recommend these. I use a 7% T5 from Arcadia, and same heater and stat for my leopard gecko. I may have had my beardie since Wednesday, but I can tell you, both beardies are in brumation, if not a partial one. This thread also made me sure that my leopard is in partial brumation as well. At least he's got a fat reserve! 🤣

They are all the bulbs am using as well :) have used them since we got him over a year ago. Ragnar is doing great thought this brumation his eyes have been open alot the past few days but he still looks very sleeping and hasn't come out since last Sunday so he isn't done yet. Ragnar hasn't eating alot since just that's when I know he was going into brumation. He has never been one for eating lots. He was 495g before he went into brumation and the last time I checked he was sitting at 465g so he hasn't lost that much as they can lose up to 50g. Am hoping when he comes out of it he is going to eat loads to get that weight back on. Just want him awake fully now as I miss him so much lol

Ragnar has been awake and out his hide for 2 hours now :) I think he might be done but not too sure so just leaving him to do his own thing just now. If he is awake for the rest of the day I will put his lighting and heating back to normal and offer him food in a little bit :) he is looking great :) 5 hours later he is away back to sleep lol

That’s awesome that Ragnar is back awake.
Scales is still worrying me, we’ve left him be and offered him water every other day, and he been staying under log.
Just gone home from work and he’s in corner like this

Ragnar went back to sleep after that. He was awake for a couple of hours yesterday after his water then went back to sleep again. I will attach a picture of him awake yesterday. That's all you can do is just keep offering him. It deffo sounds like he is in semi brumation. He looks great so try and not worrie I was the same when ragnar went into it was stressing me out. They are a worrie eh :(

Also do you have a hide for him? If he isn't drinking water just mist him not alot if your doing it inside the viv just a little so it doesn't cause humidity

He’s actually sleeping now in the same position.
Yes we have a few things that he uses as a hide.
I have been dropping water on his nose, he usually kicks his nose about 4 or 5 times, and that’s it. I add a few more drops but he isn’t bother to lick them

Thats good :) yeah that's how I give ragnar water as well as he doesn't drink out a bowl lol. Ragnar has been sleeping for 4 weeks and 1 day now surly he hasn't got much left lol

well I just woke up and Scales is still in the same position, sometimes eye open, sometimes closed. Surely his back legs must be hurting 🤨

That is one of the quirky things about beardies that make us love them. It is normal behavior for them.
