11 year old & New guy (different cage) HELP!

So my 11 year old Beardie is a rockstar. We got a juvenile in April 2016. She has grown tremendously! Anyways we wanted to put the new girl on our Mail level (in our home) so she can be more involved in our day to day.

I put the cages next to eachother. Is that ok? They seem super curious! Staring at eachother.

Am I torturing them? Are they not meant to be near eachother?

I'm a seasoned Beardie mama - just never had two at the same time!

I would put a barrier between their tanks so that they cannot see each other. Even just a piece of paper or fabric. seeing the other dragon can potentially cause the other stress. Stress can cause havoc on their immune system.
