i have a megaray 100watt uvb\basking lamp. and i just ordered a reptisun 10.0 should i put it toward the hot side\basking side? or the cool side? or just in the middle?

the floor on my radar is about 107-110. but the stagnant temperature or however you say it is around 80-85 i see things that say good breeding temperature is around 90-95 is the 107-110 floor too hot? or will they be fine? and just breed in the middle where it is around 90-95?

I noticed this little “kink” in the end of his tail when i brought him home. What is it? A injury? And his tail is pretty white compaired to the rest of him is that because he is about to shed? If he will out grow the kink how long will it take?
