I have a infrared thermometer it is pretty accurate. He is pretty calm when i hold him. any information that you guys need to know just ask me. 40 gallon tank i have 3 sides blocked off. basking spot a little log branches that he basks on alwayss. 30-40 humidity always.

The patterns on there tummies is not always due to stress , if he's basking, eating, exploring and calm when interacting with your he's likely no longer suffering relocation stress.

I'd loose the hammock - serious nail snagging risk ==> high risk of him injuring his arms or legs in an effort to unsnag him self.

I'd also ditch the analog thermometer attached to the back wall ,they are worthlessly inaccurate.

The 100W Megaray MVB is too far away from the basking spot ==> UVA & UVB will be quite low at the basking spot and even lower elsewhere.

From the site http://www.megaray.co.uk/mega-ray-100w-mercury-vapour-bulb-self-ballasted-p-145.html
MINIMUM distance setting of 12" will produce approximately 150-200 microwatts per square centimetre (uW/cm2) of UVB and 900-1200uW/cm2 of UVA.

MAXIMUM distance setting of 16" will produce 50-75 microwatts per square centimetre (uW/cm2) of UVB.

(Distance is measured from lamp face to basking spot or reptile for optimum UVB and heat.)
I'd endeavor to set up the basking spot so it's NO FURTHER THAN 12 inches from the bottom face of the Megaray MVB AND remove any mesh in the lid where the MVB is sitting, as the mesh will block 40% of the UVA and UVB.

The issue with all in one MVBs is the beam of UVA & UVB is very focused and confined in a small area , this is fine in very small footprint vivs , but not so flash in larger footprint vivs , even small viv like your's. I recommend adding a 24W T5HO 10 - 12% UVB tube in a reflector hood mounted UNDER the mesh lid to provide UVA & UVB over most of the viv , should be not more than 3/4 the length of viv and have one end adjacent to the basking globe/ MVB.

I also recommend lights on a timer on a 14-16 hour schedule ( on 6am , off 10pm say ).

I also recommend investing in some of these : https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Aquarium-LCD-Electronic-Digital-Thermometer-Fish-Tank-Water-Detector-Practica-BU/252762165947?_trksid=p2385738.c100677.m4598&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908110712%26meid%3D6ac464a2a1b24339be32c744b2ff5cf9%26pid%3D100677%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D201577608563
I have 3 per rearing tub / tank and can see my temperatures in these at a glance.

ill remove the hammock he never get on it anyways.
the thermometer i dont use for the temperature i just look at it every once in a while to check the humidity. for the temperature i have a little infrared gun
the rock is only like 14-15 inches away the little branch at the highest spot is about 11 inches away.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s35Z8X55tv4&t=287s the megaray has alot more uvb output then any of the other all in one bulbs i have looked at.
also i have been wanting a tube uvb light but my lid on my cage is pretty weird. there is only a screen in the middle pretty much. with the megaray light on there i only have about 15" of mesh screen to work with. so if theres any good uvb tubes that are pretty small please let me know. you said mount under the lid could that burn him at all? and how do you mount is securely
and i do have the lights on a timer

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
