    dubia feeding

Hmm, I guess it couldn't hurt. I like using a dish though because I can look in and see when the dish is empty and refill it. It might be a bit hard if you don't use a dish.

    Sleeping during the day..

If you only got him two days ago, then I would say it is perfectly normal. For the first week or two he will probably be quite slow as he could be stressed out and not use to his surroundings.

    Dubia question

I am wondering, if the bin is too full with roaches, will they stop breeding? It seems like my bin has come to a standstill and there aren't any new babies being born. Perhaps I should start a 2nd bin?

    Cricket supplier - Ontario

I believe there is only one supplier for Phoenix Worms total in the industry. It is possible to breed them though, you just need lots of black soldier flies and mushy food I believe. Look it up, lots of people breed them to use to fish.

I couldn't even manage to keep adult silkworms alive when I purchased them. They are so nitpicky.. I think its because I love to touch my feeders, and you aren't suppose to touch silkworms. :P

    Oatmeal for crickets and dubias?

Every day I take a tiny dish and fill it with red bran and drench it a bit in water so its mushy then put it in with my dubias. A few hours later the tiny dish will be empty -- so i'm sure you can do the same with your oatmeal! 8) Just make sure it doesn't mold, but with thousands of dubias...

    Questions on Breeding Mealworms!!

I started breeding mealies too recently just for the fun of it! I just found babies last night -- they are so tiny all I can see is the bran moving ever so slightly with my bad eyes. I am estatic however!

    Pinky mice

I don't think tossing a living animal in the freezer is very humane.. especially that of one which is warm blooded and would take quite a while to freeze to death. :?:
