    possible yellow fungus???

I noticed that my 2 and half year old female beardie had some discoloration on her stomach last night, and it really concerns me. I tried to do some research on "yellow fungus," and I've read everything from it being treatable to being instantly fatal. It freaked me out so much that I stayed up...

    color change

Hello again :) My Joshua has been getting more yellow/orange lately. I know as dragons age, they can change color if they're some sort of special variety, but as far as I know, she isn't. She's also almost 2 years old, and I wasn't sure if they still change color at that age. Her beard also...

    still refusing to eat

Just an update - Joshua ate her first cricket all by herself in almost three months. However, I screamed so loud in excitement that I scared her and she wouldn't eat the other one. Progress, though, right? :)

    still refusing to eat

Her name is Joshua...when I first got her, she was too small to tell the gender. I figured I had a 50/50 chance, gave her a boy name, and sure enough, I was wrong :P She doesn't know the difference anyway, right? :D The people at the vet get a kick out of it

    still refusing to eat

Ah, okay, I don't have any accounts like that, not for a long time anyway. Thanks!

    still refusing to eat

I was actually doing a little research on appetite stimulators, but wasn't sure if it would work. I will definitely try it! She hasn't even looked at live food in months. When I put crickets in, it's like she doesn't even know they're in there. It makes me sad, because she used to be such a...

    still refusing to eat

Hello! I posted a topic two months back about my female 1 1/2 year old beardie. I was advised to take her to the vet and , sure enough, she had pinworms. She has now been treated through a couple weeks of oral medication. When she had the parasite and was refusing to eat, I was force feeding...

    brumation or illness?

Very cool. I might get some just to see how she does, once she's eating again. I went to the vet today, and they don't have the results back from her sample yet to see if it's a parasite, but the vet did give me four pills I'm supposed to give her to support good bacteria and digestion or...

    brumation or illness?

I've tried several foods, she won't touch any of it at all. That's the only thing she'll even look at. I was able to be squeezed in very early tomorrow morning at the veterinary office, and got a stool sample, so we'll see what the doctor says.

    brumation or illness?

She is in a 75 gallon tank, between 95 and 102 degrees basking and 85 cool side. I have partial tile and partial sand, but I never let her eat on the sand. She has plumped back up since I began hand feeding her, she doesn't look thin anymore. I read that those are good staple vegetables...

    brumation or illness?

I was thinking about some sort of parasite as well, but she plumped right back up when I started making her eat, so I'm not 100% sure. Yeah, I cleaned it up, it was so runny it was spreading. I was going to post a picture of the poop, and I don't really want to upload that to any social...

    brumation or illness?

Hello! I'm new to the forum, and have a question about my female bearded dragon. She is about a year and four months old, give or take. About a month ago, she started getting increasingly lazy and sleepy, not eating, and not going to the bathroom much. She started just not eating her veggies...
