    Anole Hatchlings

Hey there. I see this forum isn't all that active, which is a shame, as I love my little anoles just as much as my not-so-little-anymore beardie :) Anyway, I just had a few of these hatch recently (I had separated what I thought were two males, then found a baby in the tank - what turned out...

    Bearded dragon stressed?

I'm fairly new to beardies myself, so someone else here could probably give you better advice than I. I do know, however, that bearded dragons are one of few lizard species that can see red light, so if it's on at night it's likely disrupting his sleep. I use a ceramic heat emitter myself, and...

Bearded Dragon wants to eat baby

Once baby gets bigger, I imagine so, but as a previous poster said, they may never get along. You might want to put some cardboard or paper on the side of one of the tanks so they can't see each other. I imagine the nearby wanna-be predator is causing baby a lot of stress.

    Could my baby be bored?

So I went ahead and opened up the tank last night, put in some more branches, rocks, cork rounds... I just spent the last twenty minutes watching him climb and jump and play... Not sure who was having more fun - him, or me, watching! And, all that extra exercise must've worked up quite an...

    New beardie (and beardie owner!)

Thank you! He's super fun too... if a bit of a danger to himself. I thought he'd be safe enough if I just kept him away from heights but today he managed to sprint headfirst into a wall. Twice... I think he gets excited about the whole being able to RUN thing but hasn't quite learned how to...

    Could my baby be bored?

Thank you - I was thing the same thing myself, but I kept reading everywhere that babies get overwhelmed, etc... The not finding crickets in a big tank thing I understand, but I feed him the live stuff in a separate container anyway.

    Could my baby be bored?

Hi everyone! So a week ago I got my first bearded dragon. 'He' (I figure I can't be sure until he/she is older) is two and a half months old and about nine and a half inches long (big for his age, if I'm not mistaken - but his clutch hatched on May 15, give or take depending on the egg). He's...

    New beardie (and beardie owner!)

Yeah, I was on this site quite a bit those first few days every time he did, well, anything... Making sure it was normal, making sure i was doing things right... I think I've got the hang of things a bit now, or at the very least I don't panic every time he blinks weird. ... And here's a picture :)

    New beardie (and beardie owner!)

Hi everyone. Just joined this forum after getting my first bearded dragon about a week ago... we've temporarily nicknamed 'him' "Meep" per my 5-year-old step-daughter's suggestion until we can be sure of the gender (he's only a couple months old). I don't have a photobucket account yet so I...
