Yeah but I'm thinking that maybe 6 will fill her up... I just don't want them to die off.

I purchased 100 hornworms that should be delivered anytime next week. The problem is that I wasn't really thinking about how much I had ordered, and how small my beardie is(8 inches). I don't know what care these guys require, and I really don't want them to go to waste. If you have ANY advice...

Hello! So, I've had my bearded dragon for a few weeks now, and I have a question about her lighting. I put the basking light right next to the UVB light, and the basking log that I have sits right under the two lights. I put an egg crate in the tank, so my beardie could climb higher to get more...

I've had my Beardie for a few weeks now, and today, she started to shed for the first time!Shes shedding her tail and arms/shoulder area right now. I'm letting her soak in warm water to help her out a little. But for the most part, it's coming off pretty easily! I'm just soo excited!

Will do. She's growing too! I can't wait until she gets bigger!

UPDATE: I just had to give the new beardie some time... NOW she eats like a MONSTER! :lol: Starting next week, her staple will be phoenix worms. I'm still trying to convince her to eat veggies (any suggestions?) But shes doing fine :blob8:

He started to eat a lot more today. 5 crickets and another wax worm! I'm going to bathe him in the morning and try feeding again. I think that he's/ she's getting used to me. He came down when I got home! I think he was just hungry :lol:

Mealworms are now in the dumpster :lol: ! But I was only feeding wax worms to add weight.

Wow... My beardie will eat maybe one bite of greens. He'll probably eat 2 wax worms , 2 crickets, and a meal worm ( given sparingly ) in one sitting. Is that ok until he gets comfortable?

So I just got a new dragon, and it's has been so much fun learning his/ her personality. I have a weird question though. My dragon will not eat in front of me. Is that usual? He/ she will look at me until I leave the room, and will not "dig in" until I'm gone. I just find that weird. And he/ she...

I just got a new beardie from my local petstore! Here he/she is!

Yeah, I think I may go with the flood light. And I am using the 55 gallon for a 6 in baby. She most likely will get a bigger custom tank when she's bigger.
