    cheapest uvb bulb?

If your UVB didn't go out but just turned six months old, you'll have a little while to get the money together. It's not that your UVB will stop working at six months plus one day, but UVB's degrade gradually over time. If it suits you better next month or so you'll be just fine too.

    Magazine Cover Background???

Welcome! :D You could seal them with a matte sealant?! That way they are also protected from being ripped by your dragon. Don't go too shiny though, that might look funny with the lighting.

Building a big stackable 7x2x2 enclosure

hey, just saw the posts about the glue and the tooth picks. The tooth picks are mainly to prevent layers of foam from sliding after gluing them. You can use any glue that does not dissolve styrofoam. A good thing to keep in mind is that white glue usually is ok to use and clear glues usually are...

My custom 150 gallon DIY project... slowww

I think the shape of your styrofoam doesn't look too bad at all actually. You could still try to get rid of any straight surfaces, which will make it look more natural, (don't see many perfectly flat straight surfaces in nature) but other than that I think your shape looks pretty good! If...

My brother and I built the Crossfire enclosure

First of all, your viv looks great, good job! :D About training your dragon to use the sand, my two dragons never poop on the rocks but always go on the sand all by themselves without any training.. so you might be surprised!

    Building 5x2x2 enclosure, first build!

Hey great job man, looks really good! I like the window frames you made too and the adding the cracks with the razorblade looked cool as well! I think your dragon will be a lot happier in his new enclosure. :D

Building a big stackable 7x2x2 enclosure

Oh I don't know what could cause that, was the colorant mixed in good enough? You could fix it with another layer of grout, but also with a clear coat of some kind of sealant I guess. Your surface will appear a bit shinier and smoother though if you go that route.

Building a big stackable 7x2x2 enclosure

Thanks so much! :D That is really nice to hear and I totally agree with you that the whole process of building your own is very rewarding. I think a lot of people think it's really hard, but I think a lot of people would be able to make a similar viv like ours if they tried! (if they wanted to...

My New Project - 5 Viv "Entertainment Center"

Sorry to hear about your dragon. Your project looks great. Only suggestion I have is to not go for glass doors on the bottom storage area. I think that will distract from all the vivs and might look a bit "junky" quickly. I would use the same material for the doors as the front material under...

Building a big stackable 7x2x2 enclosure

Thank you, and good to hear this post inspired you! :D I've used pine because I didn't want to use melamine (I wanted to stain the viv) and because my hardware store only carried two kinds of real wood. One was pine and the other one was unaffordable high grade furniture wood. Because I knew...

Viv made out of old furniture

Hi, I've never heard of people housing males together succesfully, they tend to fight eachother till the end. Housing females together might work, depending on the size of your enclosure (big..!) and they should be about the same size and not too dominant of course. It's not needed though to...

    YouTube and cohabitation

Ok I see, I'm a "disrespectful rebel" who's free to leave... Thx guys, not much need to get personal I thought, but it does kinda go with what I was trying to say. And the quotes you guys never saw someone say on here were in the reply right above mine, that's exactly what I was commenting...
