Hey! As some of you may know, I was planning on building an 11ftx3ftx3ft viv, but I've been holding off on that due to Summer plans and such..
Anyways, I've been thinking about building an outdoor enclosure. Please remember I live in AZ where it can get to over 100f. Every morning, I take Mushu and let him run around in the back while I do my lawn work. (Watering the grass, flowers, etc...). He loves it! He turns this beautiful yellow which you don't usually see when he's inside.
But I just wanted to know if I can do this. I have heard that it can over eat and such, but he will have a cool and hot side and I was planning on putting a little pool for him to swim. I'd really appreciate pictures of your enclosures! I also plan on taking my eyes off him a couple minutes, but I won't ever leave him unsupervised. But maybe? With an actual outdoor habitat.
Some info that would really help:
1. Can I do this in this kind of heat?
2. What does the humidity need to be?
3. How big should it be?n
4. What materials do you suggest?
5. What preparations need to be done to the ground?
I'd always keep him in when it got too chilly. Thanks !
